Call for N. 2 Graphics Layout Editors

The Graphic layout and Graphics team is in charge of the graphic features of the review, in accordance with the needs of the Communication and Recruitment team. It updates the Syllabus and the Style guide, providing authors with information on the requirements of their last draft and on the final result of our editorial process.
The ideal candidate knows markup language LaTeX, XML and/or HTML.
The ideal candidate is also able to work with Google Suite applications and is eventually able to write one and is also striving for an autonomous position.
We will evaluate also candidates that do not possess the aforementioned skills but are willing to learn them.

We recruit for this position on a rolling basis.

Visiting Editor Program

Since 2016, we have established the Visiting Editor Program in order to allow foreign law students into our Editorial Team. We believe that they would strongly benefit from an experience in an European student-run law journal, with an Advisory Board composed of professionals and scholars from all over the world and a rigorous peer review process. Until now, we have hosted more than 30 students from top-ranked foreign universities.

2017 Symposium - Master of Laws in the USA

The first non-scientific symposium of the University of Bologna Law Review will focus on the Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs in the United States, and will see several Advisory Editors sharing their experience and engaging in a fruitful discussion with the public.

The event will take place in the Sala Armi of Palazzo Malvezzi (Via Zamboni, 22).

The University of Bologna Law Review is currently looking for new Associate Editors.

All law students belonging to the University of Bologna, from the 1st to the 5th year, may apply.

The ideal candidate has:

a very good knowledge of the English language;
at least one previous team-working experience;
an interest in working in an international environment;
a strong motivation.

1L students are encouraged to apply.

The University of Bologna Law Review will evaluate candidacies based on merit.

The admission process is composed of two steps:

A first interview with a selected Managing Editor. The purpose of this interview is to get to know you better from the motivational and linguistic point of view.
A second interview with a second selected Managing Editor. The purpose of this interview is to evaluate your full compatibility with the University of Bologna Law Review.

There is no deadline for submitting the application, as we recruit Associate Editors all year round.
